You will hike from Parkano train station towards the little village of Kuru passing the beautiful Seitseminen National Park or the scenic Riuttaskorpi walking area. On the way you discover countless lakes, old-growth forests and big swamps. On the way you can camp near designated fireplaces where you have firewood. The route takes about 3 to 4 days depending on your speed.

You can easily extend your trip to a week or even two weeks. On the way you can go on a 1 or 2-day canoe trip, rent a sauna, stay in a cottage or hotel, and why not exploring the national park by bike.
